Dectron Unit Is Showing A Low Pressure Warning

A low pressure warning was detected in the Dectron unit, indicating insufficient refrigerant levels. We connected gauges to assess the refrigerant pressure and temperatures, identifying that short cycling of the compressor occurred due to low pressure and bubbles in the sight glass. After adding 21 pounds of 422d refrigerant, everything began functioning properly. We traced a leak to the evaporator coil and are preparing a repair quote.

To enhance the heating and cooling efficiency of the home, we furnished and installed an Ameristar M4HP3048 13 Seer 4-ton heat pump and a Mortex mobile home approved 4-ton indoor coil. A Honeywell digital heat pump thermostat also ensures accurate temperature control, while the added Ameristar 14 Seer heat pump improves overall system performance.

Duct Cleaning

During the duct cleaning process, we discovered that the upstairs register wasn't connected to the HVAC system, which could lead to ineffective heating and cooling. Accuflo installed the HVAC system 6 years ago when we were building our church, and they have maintained it since then. I couldn't be more pleased with their service, reliability and value. I really appreciate Mike, Amy, Thomas and the whole crew. They have gone out of their way to take care of us.
