After cleaning the terminal, the circuit was restored, allowing the ignitor to glow and the gas valve to energize, successfully igniting the burners. We noted that the main limit was opening at over 250F, well above its 170F threshold, and advised replacing it while the customer opted to handle their own sourcing. No filter was in place, and the blower was quite dirty, indicating that the secondary heat exchanger likely needed attention as well.
